Embarrassing question...Could it be a hemorrhoid? | |
I think I might have a hemorrhoid but I'm not sure. I used Yahoo Image search to see pics of them but what I have looks NOTHING like what I saw.
What I have is a small bump outside my anus. It's actually right on that little area in between my anus and vagina....sorry to be so graphic.
I'm just wondering if it could be a hemorrhoid and how I can get rid of it. Sometimes there's blood on the toilet paper when I wipe after using #2. And the other day me and my bf were having sex and we realized I was bleeding. I thought I had started my period, but it turns out I had not. The only ohter source of the blood I could think of is this bump. Help...I don't want this thing to get worse.
Has anyone ever had something like this? How do I get rid of it?

1Hemorrhoids can manifest inside or outside the anus, or both. I had hemorrhoids after my second baby and haven't been bothered with them for many years. (My daughter is 20 y/o now.) I've never heard of them appearing on the perineium, the area between the anus and vagina.
A lot of women are unaware we are prone to pimples and ingrown hairs in our nether region. I went to my GYN with a painful bump, thinking it was an STD, and she told me it was an ingrown hair. She instructed to leave it alone and it would go away, which it did eventually.
